St George's Family Ministry announces two new groups for our children
Fledgling Episcopal Children, FEC, embraces our children from first through third grades. As they begin actively engaging in life outside of their homes, FEC will give them a safe and supportive peer group with which they can share in faith, fellowship and fun.
Emerging Episcopal Children, EEC, includes children from fourth through sixth grades. As this peer group moves toward more independent thinking and a deeper curiosity about their faith, they will discover more about their lives as emerging young Christians through reading, the arts, and active learning. They will also take on simple mentoring for the FEC in shared projects, a wonderful way to create relationship between the groups and further reinforce lessons well learned. Thank you in advance for the strong adult support that will assure successful programming for our FEC, EEC, and EYC. Below is a list of upcoming activities for FEC and EEC during Welcome Wednesdays and special seasonal programs.
